With Meta Haptics Studio, your designs can be exported as haptic clips and played in your app using the Meta Haptics SDK.

What's New in Studio?

Visual Update: Polished Design
Experience a new, polished design that enhances the user experience with a new consistent and cohesive look across the Desktop and VR companion app. To help you get started quickly, we’ve introduced a new guided onboarding process in the VR App to help you spend less time on set up and more time creating.
Freeform Haptics: Unleashing Creative Freedom
The vector-style Pen tool allows you to create haptic effects from scratch, without relying on audio files.
This unlocks a broad scope of use cases, enabling the creation of haptic effects for things like UI interactions. In addition, the editor provides an infinite canvas, letting you draw freely, with the length of your clip being defined by the position of the last set breakpoint.
Batch Analysis: Streamlining Your Workflow
Batch analysis allows you to quickly adjust analysis parameters for multiple selected clips at once. This significantly reduces time spent on individual clip analysis, enabling faster turnaround times, quicker iteration and ultimately saving time while increasing productivity.
Stereo Clip Splitting: Simplifying Audio Management
Stereo clip splitting enables you to easily split stereo clips into left and right channels, reducing the need for external editing tools and allowing you to add even more depth to the haptic experience.
Trimming: Precision Editing
You can now define the duration of a clip with the Trim tool, eliminating the need to switch back to audio editors to shorten your original clip.
Emphasis Tool: Precise Haptic Design
The Emphasis tool facilitates fast and precise haptic design by enabling you to intuitively place emphasis points with a single click. This feature is ideal for creating complex haptic patterns.
Clear UX: Faster and More Intuitive Editing
Our newly designed Tool Bar streamlines your editing process with quick access to essential tools like Selection, Pen, Marker, Trim and Emphasis. This opens up more time to focus on creating and refining your haptic designs.
Connection Improvements: Seamless Transition
Experience a smooth transition between designing on desktop and auditioning haptics in VR with our updated connection options. In addition to a wireless connection, you can now connect your desktop and VR app directly using a USB cable, which is ideal for environments with limited network options.
Cross Platform Support: Export Across Platforms with Ease
Meta Haptics Studio offers cross-platform support, allowing you to export your work in .haptic, .ahap and .wav file formats. Expanded support ensures compatibility across different platforms and makes it easier than ever to reuse your haptic designs into different environments.
