Asset Library

Meta Spatial Editor provides access to multiple asset sources that you can use in your projects. This page covers both the built-in Asset Library and the Meta 3D Asset Library.

Open the Asset Library

To access the library:
  1. In the Toolbar, click the book icon.
    The Asset Library opens in a new window.
    The Asset Library open in Spatial Editor.

Find assets

To locate specific assets within the library, choose either All or other specific categories in the menu on the left.
Note: The Materials category is only available when accessed from the Object tab

Import assets

To add an asset to your project:
  1. Select the desired asset.
  2. Click the download icon to import it.

3D primitives

3D primitives are available for prototyping. To find them:
  1. Open the Asset Library.
  2. Select Primitives from the menu on the left.
Alternatively, you can click on the primitives displayed in the Toolbar to import them directly into your composition.

Furniture assets

Furniture assets are available by default. To add them:
  1. Open the Asset Library.
  2. Select Furniture from the menu on the left.

Manage materials

Materials from the Asset Library can be applied only within the Object tab.
To use materials:
  1. Double-click a 3D object in either the Composition or Assets panel.
  2. Reopen the Asset library from this tab.
  3. The Materials category will be accessible in the left menu.
