Downloading analytics data

This page walks you through how to download historical analytics data from the Developer Dashboard. As a developer with an app published on the Meta Horizon Store on or before March 11th 2025, you have the option to download legacy analytics data. All analytics dashboards from March 12th 2025 and on use real-time data, instead of the 48-hours behind legacy analytics data.
The file is in a comma-separated values (CSV) file format. If there is no data available, a text file with the body “no data” will be downloaded instead.
Prerequisites
- You must have published an app on the Meta Horizon Store with over 100 active users throughout its lifetime.
- The app must have been published on or before March 11th 2025.
- You must have an account on your team with the proper permissions to access the dashboard. For more information, see App analytics introduction.
Limitations
The following legacy analytics datasets are available for download:
- Revenue
- Add-on content
- User Engagement
- Performance
- Multiplayer
- Marketing Attribution
- User Demographics
- Promotion Analytics
Downloading your data
To download your historical legacy analytics data, follow these steps.
- Open the Developer Dashboard, select your app, then navigate to Analytics. Alternatively, you can navigate directly to
/manage/applications/{APP_ID}/analytics/. - Click Download Your Data
- Choose your metrics from the dropdown menu, and click Download.
