Payments

This topic describes how to view and manage your payment information for apps and digital products sold on the Meta Horizon Store. As a VR app developer, you can use the Payment dashboard to track earnings, view transactions, configure payment details, and download financial reports. All steps in this topic are performed using the Developer Dashboard.

Prerequisites

Before you can access the Payment dashboard, you must:
  • Have your banking and account information configured in the Developer Dashboard for your team.
  • Have an app with a published build in the Meta Horizon Store.
  • Be assigned a role with the Manage Payment Information permission in your team.
  • Log in to the Developer Dashboard.

How to access app payment information

The Payment dashboard consolidates all payment-related information into a single tabbed interface with four sections: Overview, Transactions, Info, and Reports.
  1. Log in to the Developer Dashboard.
  2. From the drop-down menu in the upper right, select your team.
  3. From the left-side icon menu, click Team > Payment.
  4. The Payment page opens with the Overview tab selected by default.

Overview tab

The Overview tab displays a summary of your payment activity, including recent earnings and payout statuses. Use the following steps to view your payment summary from the Payment dashboard:
  1. Click the Overview tab if it is not already selected.
  2. Review your payment summary, including:
    • Recent earnings
    • Pending payouts
    • Payment status

Transactions tab

The Transactions tab displays a detailed list of all your payment transactions, including earnings from app sales and payouts to your account. Use the following steps to view your transaction history from the Payment dashboard:
  1. Click the Transactions tab.
  2. Review your transaction history, which includes:
    • Transaction dates
    • Transaction types (earnings, payouts)
    • Transaction amounts

Info tab

The Info tab allows you to view and manage your payment information, including your payment account details.

Set up payment information

If you have not yet configured payment information for your team, you must complete the payment setup before you can receive payouts. For more information, see Manage your financial account.

Reports tab

The Reports tab provides access to downloadable financial reports, including monthly and daily reports in PDF format. Use the following steps to view and download reports from the Payment dashboard:
  1. Click the Reports tab.
  2. Review the available reports, organized by type:
    • Monthly financial reports
    • Daily reports
    • Remittance reports
    • Invoice reports

Download a financial report

  1. Click the Reports tab.
  2. Locate the report you want to download.
  3. Click the Download button next to the report.
  4. The report downloads as a PDF file to your device.

Load more reports

If you have many reports, they load in batches.
  1. Scroll to the bottom of the reports list.
  2. Click Load More to display additional reports.
  3. Repeat as needed to access older reports.

Common issues

Payment page shows setup prompt even after configuration

If you have configured payment information but still see the setup prompt:
  • Verify that your team has a valid financial entity linked
  • Contact Developer Support if the issue persists

Unable to access the Payment page

If you cannot access the Payment page:
  • Verify that you have the Manage Payment Information permission for your team
  • Contact your team administrator to request the necessary permissions

Reports not available

If no reports appear in the Reports tab:
  • Reports are generated after your first payout
  • Check back after your team has received at least one payout
