Developers are responsible for understanding and adhering to applicable data handling and privacy guidelines related to their apps and users. To help you with this effort, we’ve provided the following resources:

Trusted Developer Essentials is a support program featuring videos, best practices, and tips designed to help developers ship apps faster and meet key platform requirements. Built in partnership with Data Protocol, this series breaks down important Meta Quest developer programs and policies such as the Developer Data Use Policy, Data Protection Assessment, and more. The policies and guidelines below apply to all developers using the VR platform. If you are a developer using the Meta Platform, the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies apply to you.
